One act play about an openly gay man in his forties who discovers that he may be sexually attracted to women.
Eros Bound - copyright 1998
Work is in progress. Currently a long one act. A compilation of poems, monologues and scenes, some of which were adapted from earlier works, about sex. Told mostly in confessional stories, ranging from comic fantasy to suicidal obsession. Ensemble cast - recommended 3M and 3W - multiple parts. Composite set. Very explicit sexual language. Possible nudity.
A portion of the script called "Jenny and Michael" was produced in the summer of 1998, at The Source Theatre, Washington, DC, as part of the Ten Minute Play Competition. It was directed by Elizabeth Hyer, and was named a Finalist in the competition and won a monetary prize.
